1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BJJ Learner — the website at bjjlearner.com, the application at app.bjjlearner.com, and any related mobile applications (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

BJJ Learner is a training companion for Brazilian jiu-jitsu: a technique reference library, a training journal, progress tracking, flashcards, timers and related tools. The Service is an educational reference and record-keeping tool — it is not coaching, instruction, or medical advice.

3. Assumption of risk

Brazilian jiu-jitsu and all combat sports are inherently dangerous activities that can result in serious injury. Techniques described in the Service are for reference alongside qualified, in-person instruction — never a substitute for it. You are solely responsible for training safely, under proper supervision, and within your physical limits. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for injuries or damages arising from physical training activities, whether or not informed by content in the Service.

4. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.

5. Subscriptions, trials & billing

• New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access. No payment method is required to start the trial.
• Continued access after the trial requires a paid plan: monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase, at the prices shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage subscription; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
• Payments are processed by our billing providers (RevenueCat and its payment partners, or the Apple App Store / Google Play where applicable). Purchases made through an app store are additionally governed by that store's terms and refund policies.
• Prices may change; changes apply from your next billing period and we will notify you in advance.

6. Your data

You own the training data you record. You can export it at any time (including after your subscription lapses) and request deletion of your account and data. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Don't resell, scrape or redistribute the technique library or other content.
• Don't use the Service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its curriculum content, software and design, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service; it transfers no ownership.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We will not reduce your rights over data you have already recorded.
